Artist’s Statement
This mask yearns for its mind to form a single, continuous stream of thought as it’s consumed by neurodivergent conversations internally. Unable to make sense of fleeting mental dialogue, the mind falls into a cycle of self-destructive behaviors. However, once the mind recognizes chaos as a familiar place it no longer wishes to live, it shows itself compassion. The mind shows itself grace and turns towards radical love and acceptance, believing by digging into the shadows the mind will release the self-sabotage cycle. ::
